To me, this water drop resembles a lady in the water. I wanted to tell about her, and her lost love that she misses so much. In it, are her words about her lover, the solitary pink rose he always surprised her with and her feelings of loss.

About the process: I started with a single exposure image of the drop and Cannon Beach, and from there I added layers of a rose photo I took, textures, text, and color adjustments. It is a long creative process, where each layer has to look just right, until I feel that the photo is absolutely "done," or "complete."
