"Serenity of Trees" series. This is a tranquil, early morning foggy forest scene, and the drops are Oregon rain water. As per usual, I like the drop shape to interact with the background--this piece does well, as the drop shape is the shape of the tree behind it. Rain water is very chaotic and unpredictable to work with, along with having very asymmetrical shapes. This is three drops of water, and the column is 4-4 1/2 inches in height.
In general, I use various types of water: ocean water, lake waster, spring water, melted snow, etc.
