I love how the water drop mimics the shape of the whale tail. What is the story here? Are they playing ball? Is it a dance of joy? Every time I spot a whale on the coast, it's always a magical moment for me. I love whales, so I knew I wanted to include it in my Enchanted Passages series. It is a magical moment of wonder, to see this majestic giant of the sea. Whale tale is made with rain water, collected here in the Pacific NW. Rain water is unique to work with, as it behaves much differently than other waters I've photographed. It does what it wants to do, and is very unpredictable.
